Manta

We see and know how the weather effects our manta (land). We know when kapi pulka (big rain) is coming. We now when kuli (the heat) is coming. We now when wari (the cold) is coming. We also know when things are changing. We read punu (the plants), we read kuka (the animals) and we read manta. Kupi Kupi is a weather prediction, a synoptic chart of our changing future. Our manta is ailuru (dry), the wild flowers no longer bloom. The weather we know is changing and this will effect the way we live on country, the way we are.
